Use it in Claude Code
Enhance a coding request in Claude Code with /lighthouse-enhance.
In Claude Code, prompt enhancement is the /lighthouse-enhance slash command.
Before you start
Run reware-lighthouse init in the repository and answer yes to the Claude Code prompt. Then quit Claude Code and open it again. See Link a repository.
Enhance a request
Start the request with /lighthouse-enhance:
/lighthouse-enhance add an endpoint that lets admins export all invoices as CSVClaude Code calls the lighthouse_enhance_prompt tool, then implements your request following the guidance it returns. Allow the tool the first time Claude Code asks.
To use another branch's cards, start with --branch:
/lighthouse-enhance --branch release-2.4 fix the session timeout bugWhen to use it
Enhance requests that touch security-sensitive code:
- sign-in, sessions, passwords, and tokens
- permissions, and who can see or change what
- input from users, uploaded files, or other services
- database queries, file paths, and shell commands
- secrets, payments, and personal data
For a typo fix or a style change, skip it.
Troubleshooting

| Claude says Lighthouse isn't configured | Run reware-lighthouse login, then reware-lighthouse init in the repository. |
| Claude says your team is out of credits | See When you run out of credits. |
