Pull request scans
Rescan or cancel a scan
Run a pull request scan again, or stop one you don't need.
Rescan
Rescan the same commit after a scan fails, or after you change settings or exceptions and want a new result.
| From | How |
|---|---|
| Lighthouse | Open the scan and press Rescan. |
| GitHub | Re-run the Lighthouse Security Scan check from the pull request's Checks tab. |
A pull request runs one scan at a time. If one is already running, you see A scan of this pull request is already running.
Cancel
Open a running scan in Lighthouse and press Cancel scan. The check on GitHub completes as neutral and doesn't block the merge.
Closing or merging a pull request cancels its running scans automatically.
Pre-commit scans
Pre-commit scans have no cancel button. Press Ctrl+C in the terminal. The commit is aborted, and your changes stay staged.
