Team defaults and repository settings
How team-wide scan settings relate to each repository's own settings.
Each repository has its own scan settings. Team defaults are the starting point: a new repository gets a copy of them.
Change the team defaults
Go to Settings › Repository defaults. The form matches a repository's Scan policy: depth and blocking for pre-commit scans, and the pull request settings.
Defaults are copied, not linked
Changing a team default doesn't change existing repositories. A repository that's set differently on purpose, such as a stricter policy for a payments service, isn't overwritten.
When some repositories differ from the defaults, the page shows how many and links to them. Apply to all repositories copies the current defaults to every repository.
Change one repository
Open the repository and go to Settings › Scan policy. Where a value differs from the team default, the form shows Team default: and the default value. Use team defaults resets the repository to the current defaults.
