Run an ingestion
Start an ingestion for a branch and follow its progress.
Open the repository and press Run ingestion.
Pick the Branch. Then pick a Commit from the list, or type a Commit SHA. The latest commit is usually right.
Press Queue.
The ingestion's page opens and shows each phase and the number of files analyzed so far. You can close it. When the run finishes, the branch status changes to Ready and the new cards are used immediately.
How long it takes
It depends on the size of the repository. A small service takes a few minutes. A large monorepo can take an hour or more. To make it faster, exclude files that don't matter.
One at a time
A repository runs one ingestion at a time. If one is already running, you see This repository already has an ingestion in progress. Wait for it to finish.
Past ingestions
The repository's Ingestions tab lists every run with its status, commit, file count, and card count. Open a run to see its results.
