Repository access and maintainers

Give a developer access
You can set access from either side. Both do the same thing.
| Starting from | Steps |
|---|---|
| A person | Team › Members › the developer's actions › edit repository access. Choose All repositories or Selected repositories. |
| A repository | Open the repository › Settings › Access. Add or remove developers. |
A developer with no repositories sees an empty dashboard and a message asking them to contact an admin.
Maintainers
A maintainer is a developer who manages one repository. On that repository, a maintainer can:
- change the scan policy and scan exceptions
- change which files ingestion analyzes
- add and remove developers on Settings › Access
- archive, restore, and delete branches
- mark findings as false positives
- edit and delete security cards
A maintainer can't change team settings or other repositories.
To make someone a maintainer, open the repository, go to Settings › Access, and turn on Maintainer next to their name.
