Add repositories
Choose which GitHub repositories Lighthouse tracks.
Adding a repository tells Lighthouse to track it: learn its security rules, scan its pull requests, and accept pre-commit scans from developers. You can add any repository your GitHub connection can see.
Add one repository
Go to Repositories and press New repository.
Pick the repository. Lighthouse fills in three fields, which you can change:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name | How the repository is shown in Lighthouse. |
| Repository URL | Where the code lives on GitHub. |
| Default branch | The main line of the repository, usually main. Taken from GitHub. |
Press Create repository.
Add several at once
Open Lighthouse Setup and press Add repositories. Select every repository you want and confirm. Each one gets its GitHub name and default branch.
After you add a repository
- Its status is Not started until its first ingestion finishes. Run one now so enhancement and scans have its rules.
- Its pull requests are scanned right away, using your team defaults.
- Developers run
reware-lighthouse initin their checkout to get pre-commit scans. The repository page shows the exact commands under Connect this repository.
Delete a repository
On Repositories, press the delete button at the end of the repository's row. This removes the repository and its history from Lighthouse. Nothing changes on GitHub.
You can't delete a repository while an ingestion or scan is running on it.
